Bailey Pegasus II Rimini Video Review

This is a video review from Practical Caravan on the Bailey Pegasus 2 Rimini filmed back in 2011, however its still relevant today for those looking to pick up a second hand caravan. Its a long single axel Bailey Pegasus similar to our own seen in the site video. While our caravan does feature the rear washroom this van has a different layout with two fixed single beds.

The lounge area is a good size and in this particular Rimini variant there is no centre chest but an additional seat, however you can easily swap between the two if you found one more practical than the other. Kitchen space is good with decent work top space for food preparation.

The two fixed single beds seem to be quite popular at the moment for a 4 birth (with adult sized beds). There is good storage above and below the fixed beds with one of the beds having a wet tray locker underneath with exterior access.

In terms of the rear washroom I’m aware some people see them as wasted space. However for those of us who use both the toilet and the shower in our caravans its a space well used.  The rear washroom layout provides the space to move around with decent space between the shower, sink and toilet. The Bailey Pegasus 2 Rimini features a large separate corner shower, large practical sink and the toilet in the corner. As the reviewer states due to the Alu-Tech construction method the toilet cassette can be positioned out of the back wall panel of the caravan which would seriously reduce strength in conventional construction vans and therefore not be possible.

So there it is, if you are looking to pick up a second hand caravan with fixed single beds and a rear washroom the Bailey Pegasus 2 Rimini maybe for you.

Hope you enjoyed the video and please post any comments below.
